These trainings and groups are free, live and interactive, virtual, limited to a small group to support robust discussion and individual attention. Free Trainings
What to know when you walk into the room with youth. 120 minutes with breaks. Best for staff/adults directly engaging youth. Topics will include power dynamics and mapping, building allyship instincts, and what “no” looks like in partnership. Participants will practice skills. Sign up.
Tackling your organization’s challenges through youth engagement. 90 minutes with breaks. Best for organizational or program leadership. Targeted introduction to right-sizing youth engagement based on your organization’s goals and challenges. Participants will develop an initial work plan. Sign up.
Youth Engagement Foundations. 90 minutes with breaks. Best for everyone. Introduction to the continuum of youth engagement structures, how to take a multi-tiered approach to youth engagement, and applying the four essentials of youth engagement. Participants will develop an initial work plan to apply new knowledge. Sign up
Peer Learning Groups
Peer Learning Group for Organizational or Program Leaders. Facilitated discussions for small groups of organizational or program leaders with responsibility for planning and managing youth engagement. Groups will include participants at similar stages of development and/or in similar types of organizations and will be scheduled to best meet participant availability. Express interest.
Peer Learning Group for Young Professionals. Facilitated discussions for small groups of young professionals, sometimes featuring guest peer experts. Young professionals were recently (within the last 5 years) youth advocates/leaders and are beginning a career as the adult staff responsible for engaging youth. Express interest.
